Friday Fluff Talk: Cloth Diapering Organizations

I would like to take the time to mention a few Cloth Diaper Organizations.
First up is Miracle Diapers, Inc.
They are a 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization that helps qualifying families get a jump start on cloth diapering. They only accept a certain amount of applications throughout the month. For more information on how to apply, please visit the "How to Apply" section of Miracle Diapers.

A similar organization is Teeny Greenies.
Teeny Greenies serves local families and is not based on financial need. There are currently branched operating in Des Moines Iowa, Twin Cities Minnesota, Surry County North Carolina and The Texas Panhandle area. Here is the part where I mention that I am the Branch Manager for Gnome Grown Teeny Greenies which serves Mount Airy and Surry County North Carolina.

If you happen to live in Austin Texas, then you might want to check out Tiny Birds Organic. They offer a free starter pack of prefold diapers, as well as used diapers and covers in their free bin. They also accept donations to keep the free bin going.

I recently came across Fluff Factory. It's a group of WAHM (work at home moms) who put together auctions to benefit various charities. Many of the WAHMs are diaper makers.

If you know of any other organizations that provides cloth diapers to families, please feel free to email me or leave a comment below. I will be happy to list them here as well as on the Gnome Grown Teeny Greenies Site.
