Sports Photography

In a word: SUCKS!
Maybe if if the conditions were right, or I had a better lens I would have a different opinion.
I went with Brandon to take some pictures. They weren't meant to be "professional" but it would have been nice.
Armed with my Canon XSi, I braved the dimly lit gym. Kind of scary to think that I shot in Manual. I take that back, I did use auto white balance. I did adjust it as I was converting them. I'll have to check on the ISO. Pretty sure it might have been auto. At least the camera was set to "Manual".
One problem I had, they kept moving! I know that's the point of MMA, to move around and get away. I guess that's where the lens speed comes in. I am sure if I didn't have to use my flash, it would have went better. That's where I'm going to blame the lighting. I did manage to get a lot of crotch shots. And one awesome picture... but the flash wasn't on and even though I edited the crap out of it, there was no saving it. It would have been the best picture of the night.
